I love the interior of the 2015 cooper! It definitely has a Mini BMW vibe to it.

This bothers me. Make the headliner and pillars the same color. Ideally black.

This! I can't stand light colored headliners. That also makes this interior have 5 separate colors in it. . .

Thank you! Maybe it's the introvert in me but I could care less about the open/airy feel you're supposed to get with a light headliner. I would like to feel ENCLOSED when I am INSIDE a car. Probably why I don't care for convertibles or sun roofs.
On a related note, the Impreza has a gray headliner, regardless if you get a black or beige interior. Gray and black I can live with, but gray and beige? No... To make it worse, the gray and beige are so light that at quick glance they look the same. But then you notice they are slightly off that it looks like a mistake. Like when you see a car with metallic paint and one fender has obviously been repainted.
